Magic Package – Wrapping it up!
Now that you’ve made the card, wrap the gifts! There’s more to wrapping than high-dollar, uninteresting paper. Help your child create a magic package!
Start with a sheet of paper that will be large enough to wrap the gift. Next, cut out squares in the gift box, randomly. Place either photos of your child behind the cutout squares, or drawings created by your child.
Take some squares of paper that will coordinate the color of your wrapping paper and tape them on top of the photo-filled squares. The recipient will lift up the paper to find a nice surprise – a photo or a drawing of, or by, your child. Some other popular wraps include newspaper, especially the funny papers, potato stamping, and hand painting. Experiment with all for maximum fun!
