Pressing Flowers

Begin by collecting the flowers that you wish to press.  Brush off any debris, insects, or dew that may be on the flower.  If the flower is damp, allow it to dry for a few minutes before pressing.

Place the flower inside a brown paper bag, then place several very heavy books on top.  

Allow the flower to press for at least one day.

Your finished product can be used when creating other crafts.  It can also be attached to gifts, or mounted inside a photo frame for lasting beauty.  Or, branch out and create a wreath for a special holiday.
