These wonderful children's activities are designed to enhance the time that you and your partner spend with your child and to translate that time into quality time.  These children's activities are 'memorable' activities - and your kid will think about these impressions for a long while to come - perhaps forever!  Yes - kids and romance can mix! Study Clouds

Study the types of clouds and create a log of your findings.  Determine the shape, colors and density of the clouds when weather changes.

Make a weather station.

You’ll want to make some of the following part of your weather station: clock, rain gauge, temperature gauge, log book, wind gauge.

You can probably locate most of the above items lying around your home – or that you can purchase at a low cost, so we’ll concentrate on one you might wish to make with your child: the wind gauge.

Wind Gauge

You’ll need 4 paper cups and a simple cross constructed with 2 pieces of wood.  Attach a cup to each end of the cross via staples or strong glue.  

Take one more piece of wood and drive a nail through, so that it protrudes from the other side.  Attach the cross to the nail. The nail will act as a pivot, allowing the wind gauge to turn at the force of the wind.
