Online Romance - Why Fans Love Tom Hanks - There are so many reasons
why Tom Hanks is way at the top of the stream when it comes to the number of
doting fans.
Of course, the ‘masterpiece’
didn’t do him justice. The opaque eyes were a ‘dead’ giveaway. However,
there was one actress who was once fooled by this likeness of Tom.
This occurred during one
of the museum’s special celebrity parties in 1988. The ‘wax Tom’ was located
in the ‘Joe and the Volcano’ display. Tom merely traded places with ‘Joe’
and waited for a victim. Ingenious, wasn’t it?
Geena Davis was the lucky
victim. The ‘real’ Tom was so breathtaking and life-like that Geena just
had to get a closer view to admire him at length. We would have all done
the same, right? Nonetheless, as Geena stepped forward to gain a closer
view of ‘Joe’, Tom gave Geena the surprise of a ‘wax-time’. Poor Geena!
On the upside, she couldn’t have been frightened by a more marvelous person.
There is a bit of scary
trivia that is attributed to the musuem. A sign is posted outside that
includes a warning about the building being haunted. It goes on to state
that the museum was once the site of a prior business that burned. Supposedly,
the ghost of an employee who was killed in the tragic fire haunts the museum.
As a note, he was sleeping on the job when the fire wolfed up.
