Heather awoke to the sound of voices mumbling around her as she tried desperately to collect her senses.

She stirred and attempted to rise from the padded bench, the warmth of the room spilling over her shivering form.

"Heather, lay back down," a deep voice instructed and she tried again to focus.

The stranger explained, "You took a spill off your grandfather's roof. I'm the vacationing neighbor - lucky you."

Heather brought a hand to her throbbing head and asked, "Where is Grandfather? Is-is he okay? I-I didn't fall on him-"

"He's in the den warming up."

Heather relaxed a bit as the handsome male form materialized before her. Dark hair, overly tall and quite tan for this time of the year.

"The-the neighbor, eh?"
