Then again, getting to know the beautiful Heather might make it all worth while.

Jack suddenly twitched and rose from the leather sofa, telling them, "I'm going to check on that stew. Doc, you fill the little girl in, k?"

Phillip nodded, one side of his mouth quirking with amusement.

He glanced at Heather as Jack exited the room and suggested, "How are you feeling now?"

"Much better," she shyly smiled, his good looks literally taking her breath away. "What was Grandfather talking about? The...filling me in part?"

Phillip motioned his head towards the sofa and Heather settled in, not feeling so steady on her feet just yet. Although the bath had energized her, she still felt a bit wobbly - perhaps from the frightening experience. She was quite lucky that she had only received a bump on the chin.
