Wedding Reception Table-
Ideas to get you started...
Recently, I had the good fortune to attend a very elegant wedding. What amazed me is that it was very affordable (less than $100 minus the cost for the room which was $35). The layout is included here.
What I found particularly romantic was the photo of the Bride & Groom on the reception table. It breathed romance - the smiles, the love written in the couple's eyes for one another.
If an impending Wedding is over your horizon, you can plan ahead by laying out your 'Wedding Spread' on a scaled table. It will give you a pretty good idea of how things are going to look. And it's fun!
Fillers play an important roll in setting the Wedding atmosphere. They can also be very expensive. Try to use your imagination by implementing balloons, crape paper, confetti, glass marbles or chips, silk flowers, even a table fountain that you may currently own.
Other thinkables include incense, potpourri, dried flowers (which you can make yourself) and of course - you can't have a Wedding without the traditional candles! The fountain on this table was equivalent to a frozen ice sculpture in the punch! Everyone was talking about 'Dave's & Betty's' Wedding for weeks after the event.
At the reception, two elegant stemmed glasses were added to the table, in which the couple enjoyed punch from. As a note, it was a non-alcoholic event. Listed below are more highlights from that special, romantic day that's sure to last a lifetime for Dave & Betty!
