PLANNER, BRIDAL VEIL & FLOWERS
Match your bridal wreath
(halo/headband) to your bridal bouquet. Visit your local craft store to purchase ‘wire’ that loops
like a halo. Intertwine your flowers and greenery throughout the wire to make a very elegant and
romantic bridal wreath.
If you have a wedding gown
and are lacking the veil, check the thrift stores. The veils are usually locked in counters at the
front of the store. Visit firsthand rather than calling to inquire. I was paying for a purchase one
day and the clerk told the caller than they didn’t have any veils without the dresses.
On
my way out the door, three veils lay nesting in a huge glass case with a price tag on each of them.
But I must say, I have to give the clerk a little lead way as the store was exceptionally busy when
the call came in.
You can opt to create your
own veil if you’re extremely crafty. Again, use some loop wire with wispy netting. Let your
imagination run wild! You can go with any color and even sew romantic items on your veil. It’s
your wedding; your choice! This works well for theme weddings.
