FREE WEDDING PLANNER, WHO WILL MARRY YOU?

MINISTER/OFFICIATOR OF THE WEDDING

CEREMONY

One of the most economical sources for a wedding officiator is any Christian Seminary. This is a ‘school’ where young ordained (and unordained) ministers attend to learn everything from church doctrine to dealing with prospective congregations.

There’s a great chance that you’ll locate a young minister who’ll be glad to perform your ceremony for free, just to have the experience. Make sure the minister is ordained!

Ask your personal minister to officiate. If you don’t have a minister, don’t be shy about calling local churches and asking for referrals. Also check with friends and family and have them ask their friends for a prospective officiator.

Justice of the Peace is also another consideration, but generally they perform ceremonies at the courthouse. Some ship captains have the authority to marry, as do many offices of the land. You may want to keep this in mind should you opt for a wedding at sea. Always ask beforehand.

Once you’ve located the officiator, ask how the service will be performed so you’ll know what to expect. Also, share with them your wishes so they can incorporate them into the ceremony. Some officiators will allow you the freedom to do most anything you desire (within reason of course!).

Once thing you can depend on it the length of the wedding ceremony; it’s generally over with before you know it! All the planning and worrying – and it’s actually a very simple, elegant and short ceremony. It’s also one that you’ll remember forever, so make it as special as possible.
