perfect Christmas gift? Aren't we all! But
sometimes, the stores just don't have what we're looking
for. We want something magical - something manly for
our man, something womanly for our woman - and something
unique, something original, something that says, "I
love you darling" minus the expensive diamond.
Perhaps it's time to
take our search away from the stores and into our hearts.
We've listed a few romantic Christmas gifts that
would even put a couple of hearts to dancing in Scrooge's
eyes. Some of the gifts you'll find at the local
stores, some you'll make at home - but all are gifts
from the heart to convey your love.
If your partner loves chocolate,
rather than purchasing the standard box of chocolates,
try giving him a Chocolate Love Fest. Purchase the plumpest,
prettiest fresh strawberries that you can find, then
some fine dark and white chocolate for dipping.
Gourmet
chocolate dipped strawberries tend to be very expensive
- and they are SO EASY to make. Simply melt the
chocolate, then dip.
If your partner finds trouble
sleeping at night, purchase a down-filled pillow. These
tend to be very pricey but if you'll keep an eye out
for sales during the holiday, you'll often find them
for 1/2 off.
Purchase
a tiny tea set and some cozy packets of gourmet sleepy
tea to help your true love settle in comfortably for
the night.
If you're good with your
hands, look into learning a few massage techniques and
give your partner a massage they'll never forget.
You'll
need: warming oil, soft romantic music, a few scented
candles, dim lighting, a comfortable massage area and
oh - your hands.
